A group of around 40 delegates and officials of the 4th ASEAN-Japan Government Network Security (AJGNS) Workshop paid a visit today to IT Protective Security Services Sdn Bhd (ITPSS). They were accompanied by officials from Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry (AITI) and E-Government National Centre (EGNC).
The delegates are currently in Brunei to participate in the 4th ASEAN-Japan Government Network Security Workshop which was held at Rizqun International Hotel. The two-day workshop concluded with the site visit in order for participants to learn about the operations of Brunei’s Computer Emergency Response Team (BruCERT) and explore the possibilities of collaborating either bilaterally or multilaterally within the member countries and Japan in the areas related to Information Security.
The visit began with a presentation on the establishment and history of ITPSS and of its pivotal role as BruCERT. This was followed by an introduction to the range of IT security services offered, in particular Digital Forensics, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Security Awareness Programmes. At the end of the visit, the delegates toured the facilities within ITPSS.
